The 4th NWAACC Softball Coaches Poll of the 2009 season was released on April 13th.  Unfortunately, even with how well they have been playing, the Trojans were not ranked on this poll.  Only one team from the Northern Region was ranked on this poll. In fact looking over the results, there are four teams from the South, three teams from the East and no teams from the West ranked.  The top two and bottom two spots are Southern Region teams, with the Eastern Region holding the 3, 4 & 5 spots, leaving the sixth spot for the lone Northern Region team.  With the way Everett has been playing, hopefully by the next poll they will be ranked.

  2. Mt. Hood CC 5-1 league, 15-2 overall – Previously ranked #2
  3. CC’s of Spokane 14-4 league, 24-6 overall – Previously ranked tied #4
  4. Wenatchee Valley College 14-4 league, 19-7 overall – Previously ranked tied #4
  5. Blue Mountain CC 14-4 league, 19-7 overall – Previously not ranked
  6. Bellevue College 4-2 league, 10-6 overall – Previously #3
  7. Clackamas CC 2-4 league, 9-11 overall – Previously #6
  8. Southwestern Oregon CC 2-4 league, 22-6 overall – Previously ranked #7
    Other teams receiving votes: Walla Walla CC; Shoreline CC; Chemeketa CC; Olympic College
