The most current NWAACC Coaches Poll for the 2009 Baseball Season was released on April 27th.  There were only three changes in the top 8 this time around.  In an unfortunate turn of events, the Trojans have dropped two places from the 6th spot to the 8th spot.  At the time of the Poll, they had a league record of 10-10 and an overall record of 22-16.  Three teams from the Northern Region are in the top 8, with Skagit Valley College still being in the number 1 spot. 

  1. Skagit Valley College – 13-3 league, 24-4 overall, previously 1st
  2. Columbia Basin College – 16-4 league, 34-6 overall, previously 2nd
  3. Mt. Hood CC – 18-2 league, 25-4 overall, previously 3rd
  4. Lower Columbia College – 16-1 league, 27-6 overall, previously 4th
  5. Green River CC – 13-3 league, 22-8 overall, previously 5th
  6. Edmonds CC – 14-5 league, 22-14 overall, previously 7th
  7. Walla Walla CC – 10-10 league, 23-14 overall, previously not ranked
  8. Everett CC – 10-10 league, 22-16 overall, previously 6th
    Others receiving votes: Wenatchee Valley College, Lane CC, Tacoma CC

The next poll is set to be released on May 12th.
