On the second NWAACC Baseball Coaches Poll that was posted 3/17/09 the EvCC Trojans are ranked 7th. On the first poll they were ranked sixth, so they move one spot down, but they are hardly down an out. With a record at the time of 10-3, other teams know they are a force to be aware of.

Of the top eight teams ranked, four of them are from the Northern Region (Skagit, Edmonds, Everett, Bellevue).  This could make league play in the north be extremely competitive and very interesting to watch.
