The first Baseball and Softball Coaches Polls were released on January 13th for the 2009 season.

On it, the EvCC Trojan Baseball was ranked in the 6th place. Which is really good considering this poll happened before the season has even started. Another interesting point is that four of the top eight teams are teams from the Northern Region – EvCC, BCC, EdCC, SVC.

5th - Mt. Hood CC

7th – Skagit Valley College
8th – Treasure Valley CC

The Softball Coaches Poll unfortunately does not list the Trojans. However there is lots of time for the Trojans to be voted onto it. There are two teams from the Northern Region on the top eight - OC & BCC.
