Seanoa signs at NMHU
Sophomore Women’s Basketball player - Oliana (Oli) Seanoa has signed a letter of intent to attend school and play basketball at the New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM, which is a NCAA D-2 school.
She will be playing for new head coach - Tiffany Darling who previously was the head coach at Peninsula College in Port Angeles, WA. Coach Darling definitely knows about Oli’s playing ability due to the fact that EvCC plays Peninsula College twice in league play during the regular season.
Oliana is a 2006 Everett High School graduate where she made 1st Team All-League her senior year. While at EvCC, she has helped the Trojans take 1st place in the Northern Region two years running; participated at the NWAACC Championship Tournament that is held in Kennewick, WA the last two years; was named as a 2007-08 Northern Region All-Star 1st Team; and participated in the 2007-08 NWAACC Sophomore All-Star Event this past March. In her freshman year at Everett, she also played soccer but then decided to focus on basketball for her sophomore year. It seems like that decision has paid off.
We want to wish Oli the best of luck at NMHU. Even though you are now a Cowboy, you will always be a Trojan!
Good Luck!
