On May 14th, the final 2008 NWAACC Baseball Coaches Poll was released.  At the beginning of the season eight coaches are randomly selected to vote for which teams they think are the top of NWAACC.  These coaches vote anonymously throughout the season at certain intervals listing their top eight teams. The votes are tallied at the NWAACC office and the poll is released.  Listed on the poll are teams that are not considered the top eight, but have received at least one vote on that particular poll, kind of like an honorable mention.  The polls has absolutely no barring on the NWAACC Championship Tournament, it is just an informational item of who the top eight teams in the conference are according to the coaches. 

1st - Mt. Hood CC  (26-4, 38-7) previously 1st
2nd - Wenatchee Valley College (23-5, 40-10) previously 2nd
3rd - Lower Columbia College (23-7, 39-8) previously 3rd
4th - Bellevue CC (34-2, 41-4) previously 4th
5th - Walla Walla CC (22-6, 37-15) previously 5th
6th - Clackamas CC (17-13, 24-21) previously 6th
7th - CC’s of Spokane (22-6, 30-14 previously 8th
8th - Pierce College (28-2, 36-10) previously 7th
Others receiving votes - Chemeketa CC

All of the above mentioned teams will be participating in the 2008 NWAACC Championship Tournament along with; Shoreline CC; Everett CC; Olympic College; South Puget Sound CC; Centralia College; Blue Mountain CC; and Highline CC. The tournament will be held at Delta Park in Portland, OR, May 16th - 18th.
