In the first loser out game of the 2008 tournament, the EvCC Women’s Team were determined  not to go home.  They were at the Toyota Center at 7am to start warming up for their game against the Cougars of Clackamas CC with the game time of 8am. With a great team effort and a great game played by both teams, the Trojans beat the Cougars 77-71 to stay alive in the tournament.   They now will have to play the Riverhawks of Umpqua CC at 4pm on 3/1 in another loser out game. 

The Men’s Team had a long day to think about their game against the Clippers of South Puget Sound CC since the game didnt’ start until 10pm.  While some came to watch some other teams play, some stayed in their hotel room and relaxed before the game.  However when they arrived during the second half of the 8pm game, they all had their game faces on.  They were there ready to play.  It was a 1 point ball game going into half time with the Trojans ahead 45-44. Throughout the game there were 12 lead changes and 7 ties.  This was a game that both teams wanted to win. Unfortunately for the Clippers, the Trojans wanted it more and they went on to win it 92-86.  They will now face the Thunderbirds of Highline CC at 4pm on 3/1 in a loser out game.
