Congratulations go out to both the Men’s & Women’s Basketball teams as they have qualified for the NWAACC Basketball Championship Tournament. This 4-day, 32 Team, 52 Games event will take place at the Toyota Center in Kennewick, WA from Thursday Feb. 28th to Sunday Mar. 2nd. 

The Women’s Team took 1st place in the Northern Region with a 14-2 League Record and 21-7 Overall Record.  This is the second year that the women have won the Northern Region title.  In the 2006-07 season they tied for 1st place with Bellevue CC and Whatcom CC.  With the first place finish, they will enter the NWAACC Championship Tournament as the #1 seed for the North and will play the #4 seed from the East Region at 4pm on Thursday Feb. 28th. 

The Men’s Team tied for 2nd place in the Northern Region along with Bellevue CC and Whatcom CC. Peninsula College took first place for the North and will go in as the #1 seed.  Due to the numbering system that the Northern Region has, the Trojans will enter the Championship Tournament as the #4 seed and will play the #1 seed from the East Region at 6pm on Thursday Feb. 28th.
