Nick Collison drew the start in game two and pitched well.  Collision was nearly perfect through the first 3 innings, retiring the first seven hitters in order.  The Cardinals first got on the board in the fourth inning after the first two batters recorded an out.  In the fifth inning,

Skagit lead off with a couple singles to right field, and Kyle Boe moved the runner to scoring position on a sacrifice bunt. Sean Stapleton drove home a run with a ground ball single to give the Cardinals a 2-0 lead.  Another run would score on a throwing error and then Mark Hewitt tripled in SVC’s third running of the inning.

Four runs turned out to be all that Josh Fullington would need.  The Trojans only run in the game came in the sixth inning when Jake Hammons lead off with a single and advanced to second when Donny Treat was hit by a pitch.  Gavin Heinemann moved both runners into scoring position with a sacrifice fly and Hammons would later score on a wild pitch.  Cody Visser came in for Fullington in the eighth inning and closed out the game.  Trojan Tim Waters came into the game in the seventh inning and worked two scoreless innings.
