Trojan Baseball split with EdCC
Game One (7 Innings)
Brad McGava: 3.0 IP, 2 Runs, 0 Earned Runs, 2 Hits, 3 KWinning Pitcher: Tyler Rogstad In the third inning Edmonds CC scored five runs on three infield singles and two bases loaded walks off of Trojan starter Ryan Woods. They also tacked on a pair of runs in the fourth and sixth inning. The Trojans scored their only run of the game in the sixth when Pat Allen groundout scored Alex O’Brien to cut the score to 7-1. EvCC managed only four hits in the game. Jake Hammons had a double and Andrew Gniffke,Daniel Ulrich and Jason Blosser each had a single. Game 1 - EvCC Box Score 1. Nick Fleck (3B): 0-2, BB2. Game Two (9 Innings)
In the second game of the day the Trojans received solid pitching from starter Mason Tobin and a 20-hit offensive attack which saw five different players with multiple hits as EvCC evened its league record 1-1 with a 16-6 victory. Tobin was effective as he scattered seven hits in seven innings allowing only two unearned runs. Up 6-2 heading into the eighth inning, the Trojans exploded for seven runs in the inning. Pat Allen had a two run single and Daniel Ulrich had a bases clearing three run double off of the center field wall. Ulrich finished the game 5-6 with a pair of double and six RBI.
