Women Hoops still in 1st
Last night the Trojan Basketball Teams traveled to Bremerton, WA to play the Olympic College Rangers in league play.
The Women started the night strong and ended strong even with two Trojan injuries – a sprained ankle/torn ligament to Kristina Schumacher and a broken nose to Oliana Seanoa. The Trojans dominated the Rangers from the start of the game. Great defense and fast offense (shooting 83 shots) helped the Rangers to commit 28 turnovers and to allow only one player to score double digits – 10 points. The score at half time was EvCC 35, OC 18. After the half, the Trojans came out hot, shooting 50% from the floor, and outscoring the Rangers 50-28 for a final score of 87-46. This win takes them to 11-1 in league and 21-3 overall. It also keeps the Trojan women in 1st place in the North.
