Going into Mondays game at Skagit, the Trojans knew it was going to be tough. Skagit fans are known to be pretty rude and enthusiastic. That environment seems to energize the players of Skagit. The game was pretty even the first half with the Trojans being ahead by 2 going into half time, 42-40. It was the start of the second half that did the Trojans in though. They allowed the Cardinals to go on a 12-0 point run and had to play catch up for the rest of the game. With some questionable calls and some calls that went uncalled along with the pumped Skagit fans, time just ran out before the Trojans could fight back to win. The Cardinals won the game 80-72 to advance to the NWAACC Tournament as the 4th place team, thus ending the Trojans season with a record of 13-14 overall and 8-8 in league.

Thanks guys for an exciting and fun season. Best of luck to the sophomores as they move on next year and to the freshman, can’t wait til next season!
