According to the NWAACC Coaches Poll that came out on Jan. 5, 2007 the Everett CC Women Basketball Team is ranked 6th out 34 teams. 

The top eight, with overall records are:
1- Yakima Valley CC 15-1
2- Bellevue CC 11-1 (in our league)
3- Lane CC 12-3
4- Columbia Basin College 10-4
5- Centralia College 8-5
6- Everett CC 11-2
7- Chemeketa CC 11-4
8- CC’s of Spokane 10-4
Other teams getting votes – Walla Walla CC, Linn-Benton CC, Highline CC, Tacoma CC

The Women have played Lane (lost in OT by 6 points), Centralia (beat twice), Chemeketa (beat in OT) and Linn-Benton (lost by 2 points). This shows that they truly deserve to be in the top 8 of the NWAACC, because they are that good! 

There has not been any notification as to when the next Coaches Poll will be, however usually there are 3 throughout the season (beginning of league, middle of league and end of season).  So look for the Trojan Women to be on the next one too!!!
