The Women’s Basketball team traveled to Albany, OR to participate in the Linn-Benton Community College NWAACC Crossover Tournament December 14th-16th.  When they came home after 3 days and 3 games, they brought home the 3rd Place trophy with them!

1st day - The Trojans went up against the Gators from Green River CC in the 3rd game of the tournament.  With a pretty easy win, 77-49, the Trojans now had to get ready to play the host team Linn-Benton CC on day 2.  Leading the stats for the women were: Kristina Schumacher with 25 points, Laurie Bader with 11 points, and Marysa Bonner adding 8 points. 

2nd day - Playing the host team, LBCC, in the fourth an final game of the day.  The game was a out-an-out battle that came down to the final seconds with Everett unfortunately on the losing end, 63-65.  This game sent them to play for 3rd & 5th place in the second game of the 3rd and final day against Umpqua CC.  Leading stats were: Kristina Schumacher with 25 points, Britni Rathke with 13 points, Kristin Moore with 12 points, Rachael Boehme with 7 steals and Oliana Seanoa with 8 rebounds.

3rd day - Playing for 3rd place, the Trojans faced the Riverhawks from Umpqua.  Everett’s defense was key in this game.  With forcing 27 Umpqua turnovers, the Trojans were able to create a large lead that they didn’t let go of, winning the game 93-65 and bringing home the 3rd Place Trophy.  Game highs: Kristina Schumacher 24 points, Rachael Boehme 20 points, Britni Rathke 13 points & 15 rebounds, Kristin Moore 11 assists.  

Kristina Schumacher was named to the All-Tournament team for her outstanding play in all three games.
